Red White & Blue Folk Art Mud Painters

Here is a Horse that I have been painting for the last 18 years with regular paint for signs like this one and with my home made mud paint for other art such as in the one in the picture below taken from one of my eBay auctions without my permission.. The sign is from a old farm that use to be on the property I now own. The decedent's of the original owner of the farm have commissioned me to do signs for them as the one in the picture above .The horse in the picture above is similar to ones made years ago by black smiths for business signs, weather vans etc . It is not copyrighted. "The Georgia red mud painter Steven Craig Chandler " falsely states that this horse is a copy of the horse in his painting below. As you can see, any fool would know the two horses have nothing in common. The picture below is from a "blog of Steven Craig Chandler the Georgia Red Mud Painter". As you can see in the picture below it was taken off my eBay auction and posted on "Mr. Steven Craig Chandlers blog" without my written or verbal Permission . I say this as Mr. Chandler has made false statements that I and others have copied his art. He even has another post on his blog about another artist he states copied his goat painting. ( he since has removed that blog post ) But now has a blog named "Artist Unite by The Georgia Red Mud Painter Steven Craig Chandler" stating the B S of me copying his and others art. In that cowardly blog he takes paintings of other artist and compares them to mine while the layer edits the pictures and leaves part of the paintings out to twist the facts. This is how this sad person works. Change the truth to make himself look like he is the victim. If all he ever said about me and the other artist  was true he would at least have the courage to use his real name when he makes this lying post.

I like other artist purchase and invest in other artist work. I purchased 4 small paintings of  "Mr. Steven Craig Chandler The Georgia Red Mud Painter" years ago for $24.95  as he uses mud in his paintings and I am an artist that also uses my home made mud paint in some of my art to ad texture and thickness to my work.

When the paintings arrived I like the design of the art but found the Mud paintings to be paintings and drawings with just wet mud dabbed around the subject and the mud was held onto the material with what looked like several layers of sealer coats. No big deal as that is how he does it. I make my mud paint like real paint by straining, washing the mud then mixing it with a acrylic binder so it is real paint.
I put the paintings in my gallery to sell for about a year. I had no buyers and when a man was looking at them I offered them to him for a discount but he declined. This blows Chandlers B S that I was selling his art on eBay to promote mine and get famous as I tried several time to sell them without listing them on. eBay and eBay was my last resort.
Also If I was into the Art to make allot of money and become famous, I would have stayed on "Graves Country folk" art sight as it is the place to be so they say. But I left. Yes it was even  in my description on that sight that I painted with Mud along with other materials before "Mr. Steven Craig Chandler" "The Georgia Red Mud Painter" was even on that sight

I have found out  that "Mr. Steven Craig Chandler" is not fond of anyone relisting his art on eBay. Even heard it from a friend of his.

Well I listed them at $ 9.99 each and right away I got an email from mister Chandler . He was upset that I was listing his paintings and at what he thought was a low price when actually the price was only the opening bids. He went on how Me and another artist were in "Graves Country folk art" and that that gallery would not give a shit about him and here was his art selling on eBay for $ 9.99 each.

Well I offered them back to him for what I paid plus shipping and he said no. I also offered to talk to "Roff Graves" about him and his art but He didn`t reply. So I kept the auction up and even added a nice wright up directing bidders to his eBay sight.

Well soon after ( I heard form one of his friends) he came back from a show and was upset about the show for some reason and then I get these emails from someone stating "Mr. Steven Craig Chandler the Georgia Red Mud Painter" told them one of the paintings I was selling was a fake. Well that was it. I emailed him stating that if that ever happened again I would take him to court for slander . Things got worst, and this is when he started to say I was copying his art which was BS as I am 67 and was painting country paintings, farm animals, country people, horses etc. with regular paint and or Mud long before he knew what a paint brush was.. I only state this because Mr. Chandler has this posted on his blog stating that it is from some other blog. Funny how these blogs are only about him and state the same things he states.  The art police blog has sent me messages stating " Guess what, You are gay "Another "artist unite blog" which has the same BS on it that Chandler states sent me a message "F--K You"

Well I am not gay and could care less what these jerks say.
He has accused others of copying his and others art. One of his friends contacted me and apologized for harassing me. He was also upset that I am friends with some of his old friends. Well I didn`t contact them it was the other way around. He also states I contacted galleries saying shit about him. FALSE I only contacted 2 people who represented him after they had contacted me FIRST.

Bottom line is if anything "Steven Craig Chandler The Georgia Red Mud Painter" he states about me and others all over the Internet were true he would have grounds for a law suit but he knows it is all B S . He even had a art registry person who Invest in his art send me bogus emails about his claims and acting like they legally represented him and the State Bar association sent them a warning to stop. I have a copy of the letter. Along with Emails that prove everything I say here is TRUE

But it doesn`t stop. If you see anything about me or other artist pertaining to doing negative stuff to
" Steven Craig Chandler The Georgia Red Mud Painter" don`t believe it. I even challenged him to take a polygraph test with me that I would pay for and You can guess his reply.

Below is the pictures he has on his blog. Stating I copied his horse, and ideas. You can see my horse in the bottom picture does not look like his.  As far as the mud goes. Like I say I painted with mud for years before him and so have others. No one has a Copyright on painting horses with or with out Mud.

If you see any BS from anyone about anyone don`t believe it. If it was true they would take that person to court.

The only reason I posted this is that some day my grand children will have a place to read the truth about this and not the crap that is posted all over the net about me and others

I use my real name and IDs on youtube, blogs etc. when I make comments not like others that have dozens of youtube and blogger IDs just for the purpost of stating B S about others.

I also have the emails and other written proof of what I state is true

On the positive side so many other folk artist from all over this Great Country know how it is and have become  good true friends of mine

Thanks Richard
